#381. I opened the shades and drapes in the morning to let in the sun.
#382. I put vegetable scraps in the compost.
#383. I recycled plastic, glass, steel and paper.
#384. I fed the worms.
#385. I worked on plans for a craft activity for the rally.
#386. I sent an e-mail to the EPA urging them to uphold the law and fight global warming.
#387. I sent an e-mail to my representative asking him to reject a plan to build new hydrogen bombs.
#388. I closed shades and drapes at dark to conserve heat.
#389. I turned off lights, TV and computer when not being used.

Wow, 500 acts of environmental self-defense ---now THAT is karate at work out of the dojo...and into the world!

You (and your students) will, most likely, not perform a more relevant-to-self-defense project than this one. I'm VERY proud of you...and hope your work starts a landslide of copycats! Great work!
